Hi! My name is Mrs. Lexie Cathcart. I have spent the last 25 years teaching kids in many different settings: gymnastics, dance, preschool, and daycare. I have a passion for working with kids and love to watch them grow help them learn! I started Learning Tree with a mission to give children a place to learn and grow in a creative space that allows them to move and be kids! My husband, John, and I have 3 kids. Zoe 19, Dakota 16, and Katana who is 8 years old.

My name is Charrissa McNaught. I am from Australia and moved to Spearfish to be with my husband and his two children (Sophie and Thomas). Since moving here and gaining residency, we have had another child together (Ollie). We also have an awesome golden doodle, Pickles who goes everywhere with us. I enjoy traveling and have visited many countries around the world. These days, my travel is mostly around the Black Hills and every 2 years, we try to visit Australia. I love working with children and am excited for another great year at Learning Tree! |

I attended university in Australia – Griffith University in Mt Gravatt, Queensland, studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary). Since studying in Australia, I entered the world of international teaching. I have almost 20 years teaching experience with children from preschool to Grade 2. I have taught in Japan, Honduras, Indonesia, Thailand, Norway and most recently in the Dominican Republic. |

My name is Amber Lewis. I have lived here in the Black Hills for 10 years now. My husband and I love enjoying all the hills have to offer. We have a beautiful 2 year old girl named Pamela (PJ), and a sweet baby boy named Jaxx! We also have two loving boxers who love to run and play in the outdoors. I love the atmosphere that we have here at Learning Tree! The ability to move about the classroom and use the gym space for our learning is so wonderful. I have a passion for working with kids and enjoy seeing their bright smiles everyday when they come to school. I am looking forward to a great year at Learning Tree! |
